BVSc (Hons)

Miranda graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours) in 2016 from the University of Queensland. She initially started out in General practice, after which time she transitioned into Internal Medicine, & then into Overnight Emergency & Critical Care. Seeking a bit more time for her own adventures and a better work-life balance, she returned to regular day-time work in 2022.

Miranda currently works a mixture of General Practice and Surgery here at Ashgrove – you’ll mostly find her grooving to tunes in the surgery suite! She finds soft tissue surgery and dentistry (amongst other surgical focusses) especially rewarding. In her time away from work, Miranda entertains her young French Bulldog, Gaston (who works one shift weekly as Emotional-Support Manager), and rescue cats Squirtle & Figaro. She enjoys gardening (having both a fruit/vege garden as well as a huge indoor tropical garden), decorating, and exploring the outdoors & markets on weekends. If you enjoy indoor-gardening yourself, she’ll quickly become your new best friend!
