Animals In Need Brisbane
Animals in Need Brisbane is a not-for-profit organisation that works round the clock to care for, rescue and rehome animals in need. They have a dedicated group of volunteers and foster carers who ensure these animals get the best chance of finding their forever homes.
Ashgrove Avenue Vet is proud to support Animals In Need and we work closely with them on a day to day basis providing discounted services, donations and more. Some of our own pets have even been foster fails!

Victorian Bushfire Appeal 2019
Ashgrove Avenue Vet Clinic, the staff and our community donated money to buy veterinary medical supplies to support animals and wildlife affected by bushfire. We also collected and donated medical supplies, bedding and other supplies with the coordination of Fortitude Valley Vet Clinic.
We were so overwhelmed by all of the community’s donations: it filled an entire van!
St Ambrose Primary School Newmarket
We are proud to continue our yearly sponsorship for St Ambrose Primary School’s P&F association initiatives.
2023 – Fundraiser to install solar power at the school providing a more environmentally friendly school with plenty of opportunities for STEM learning for the students.
Brisbane Metro Little League Baseball – May 2021
To support the Brisbane Metro Little League in going to the Nationals finals in Lismore of 2021, Ashgrove Ave Vet donated a hamper and vouchers for their fundraising raffle.
Community Celebration Days
Here at Ashgrove Vet, your family is our family. That’s why each year we run Santa Photos free of charge for our wonderful family of clients and their pets. The sausages are free too! We also use this opportunity to raise money for the charity Animals In Need Brisbane or other timely causes.
