Tanisha rejoined Ashgrove Avenue Vet in 2026 after spending time at a specialist veterinary hospital in Brisbane, where she developed advanced skills in surgery, medicine and anaesthesia. As Head Veterinary Nurse, she has particular interests in anaesthesia and in teaching and mentoring other nurses. 

Warm, thorough, professional and knowledgeable, Tanisha loves all aspects of patient care and finds it especially rewarding to see unwell pets recover. She also has a special interest in the care and management of brachycephalic breeds, inspired by life with Bear and Lemmy, her Pugs, and Theo, her Pug x French Bulldog. 

Outside work, she enjoys visiting markets, walking, going to the beach and spending time with her dogs, friends and family
