Monica is a Veterinary Nurse who is currently completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Before moving into veterinary practice, she spent 10 years working as a zookeeper, bringing valuable experience with animal care and observation to her nursing role. 

As a newer member of the veterinary nursing profession, Monica is keen to learn and happy to help wherever she is needed, with a current focus on developing her skills in anaesthesia and surgery. Thorough, highly empathetic and exceptionally helpful, she is known for going above and beyond and seeing every task through. Monica also has a talent for keeping the clinic running smoothly by managing the schedule and helping everyone stay on track. 

Outside work, she enjoys hiking and spending time with her two German Shepherds and two cats.
