Dr Mitch graduated from James Cook University in Townsville in 2012 and joined Ashgrove Avenue Vet in 2018. Before joining the clinic, he worked across a range of general practices, from smaller clinics to larger veterinary hospitals.

Mitch enjoys caring for pets throughout every life stage and has particular interests in puppies and kittens, dermatology, medicine and dentistry. Caring, thorough, warm and famously chatty, he takes the time to help clients understand their pet's health and work with them towards the best outcome. He values clear follow-up communication and making sure every client and pet feels well supported.

Having grown up on a cattle property, Mitch is experienced with animals of all sizes.

Outside work, he enjoys hiking, adventuring, discovering new places and good food, and spending time with his partner and family.
