Jacqui joined Ashgrove Avenue Vet in 2018 and works as both Practice Manager and Veterinary Nurse, with her role now focused predominantly on clinic management and developing the nursing team. Drawing on her veterinary nursing experience and background in education, she is passionate about teaching, empowering team members and creating a workplace where everyone has a voice and takes ownership of their role.

Jacqui particularly enjoys training nurses in advanced skills, including the management of complex anaesthetic cases. She also retains a keen interest in puppies and in helping new puppy and kitten owners build a strong foundation for lifelong care. 

Outside work, Jacqui enjoys horse riding with her horse, Kingi, as well as hiking, travelling, movies and time with her partner, family, friends and her many pet nieces and nephews.
