Dr Abigail grew up near the small Central Queensland town of Dingo on her family's beef cattle property, where she rode horses, mustered cattle and helped care for chooks, dogs, pigs and poddy calves. Her family's commitment to animal health, together with watching visiting veterinarians at work, inspired her to become a vet from a young age. 

After graduating in 2007, Abigail began her career in mixed practice before travelling to the United Kingdom, where she developed a stronger focus on small-animal care and surgery. She is passionate about building lasting relationships with clients and caring for their pets as much as they do. Abigail strives to make a positive difference in the lives of every pet and person she meets. 

Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her family, horses, horse riding and playing polocrosse.
