Safe Vet visits during COVID-19

Current Protocols

Do not visit the clinic if:

  • You have any cold or flu symptoms
  • You have been in contact with someone who may have COVID-19
  • You have been overseas within the past 14 days
  • You are in self-isolation or quarantine

If any of these apply to you, please give us a call on (07) 3366 6666.  We can make alternative arrangements.

When visiting the clinic:

Our aim is to provide the best veterinary care for your pets while reducing the risk of spreading COVID-19 to all staff and clients.  In order to allow us to continue doing this and to adhere to government guidelines, we will be implementing contactless consultations.  This will be via drop off service and telemedicine (where appropriate).

Call us before you visit:

We are still taking most bookings over the phone and online.  Please call if you are running late or need to cancel.

Food and medications can be ordered and paid for over the phone prior to pick up and brought to your car.

Wait outside for your appointment:

Please call us on arrival at the clinic and wait outside or in your car with your pet.  Our nurses will collect your pet and take them through to our vet, who will then call you while examining your pet.

Please adhere to social distancing and stay 1.5m apart from all other staff and clients at all times.

Payment methods:

Please avoid cash payments and use payWave where possible.  We can also take over the phone payments for consultations, surgery, food, and medication.

Hand Hygiene

We will give you a wave instead of shaking hands.

Use the hand sanitisers we have available on arrival and departure.  You may see some staff wearing gloves and/or masks; please do not take offense.
